Comment: I hired ******* (redacted) and after 6 months I noticed mold and water leaking. I called these guys, and they were able to fix the leak. However, they told me the prior contractor did not install things correctly. Now I can't afford to have it fixed because I basically wasted all my money on those other clowns. Troy told me his patch won't last as the whole job wasn't properly done. I guess I'll just wait and see if I can make it by this year and have them redo it next year.

Comment: I had a couple contractors look at my roof and Troy impressed me the most. Also, the other contractor asked me to pull the roofing permit. I didn't know any better, but I went with these guys because they got back to me and followed up. They were a little more, but when I asked Troy if he wanted me to pull the permit. He said, what a silly question to ask. When I told him the other contractor said I had to pull the permit because it's my house; he said that's because the other contractor was NOT licensed (red flag). He told me licensed and bonded roofers pull the permit, and if anyone ever wants you to pull the permit then they're 'shady' and not licensed or bonded. Thank God I dodged that bullet.

Comment: I needed a deck out back repaired. They gave me a price to replace the whole deck with new. I'm glad I did that because this new deck is so much nicer.

Comment: My mother lives in our old home and I'm states away and since my dad past she really doesn't have anyone to help her out. Eventually, she'll need to move to an assisted living facility, but until then she likes her independent life with her little dog. She's active in her Church and was getting some 'supposedly good Christians' to help her. I suspected she was possibly being taken advantage of, so I had these guys come check on a few things and I was glad I did. They took care of all her issues and charged me less than what those 'supposed Christians' wanted. Also, when talking with the owner, he was very understanding and even offered to stop by and check on mom if I ever had any worries. I thought that was nice to know. It's nice that there are still honest people helping others out of the kindness of their heart.

Comment: These guys were great, I just wish they were cheaper. I called around and got 3 estimates and they were more than one and less than another, so I picked them. **Update** Afterwards, I was glad because the cheaper company did my neighbor's house, and their roof is leaking, and they don't return calls. Thank goodness I went with Virgina's because they are bonded and insured and certified roofers.

Comment: These guys are great. I had several people look at my roof and these guys impressed me the most. I'm so glad I had them do the work. They did an excellent job. Our insurance adjuster said it was the best workmanship he'd seen. I almost went with someone else, when I told my insurance agent it was ******* (redacted), he said good thing I didn't because he's had nothing but problems dealing with them. He also said that ************ (redacted) Insurance has never had problems with Virginia's and they're a preferred vendor.

Comment: They did a good job, but they didn't start when they said they would. They were 3 weeks late starting on my roof. When I called Troy, he said it was because of bad weather and they were unable to start. I was just told a start date and was never told they couldn't install the roof if it was snowing and raining. Couldn't they just shovel off the snow? I just thought they'd start when they said they would.

Comment: What I liked was they wouldn't just ******(redacted) rig it like I asked them to. Troy flat out told me that they don't do that type of work. He said there's a lot of guys out there that will take your money, but they're not going to be around or warrant it etc. I was just trying to save money is all. However, as cost keep going up, I'm sure it won't be any cheaper next year. I was surprised by the number of roofs Troy told me he walks away from because they don't do half-a** (redacted) work. I know one in particular they walked away from, and I see they have *** Roofing (redacted) doing it. It just makes you wonder is all. If I'm going to pay someone then I want the best, if you have cancer wouldn't you want the best surgeon? and not someone that is cheap and just takes your money? Comment: When raindrops conspired against my roof, I turned to Virginia Roofing and Construction Co. Their ex-military precision pinpointed the leak’s origin. Swiftly, they sealed the breach, leaving my home dry and secure. The veteran discount was a nod to shared service. Trust them—your roof deserves it. I called others and they wanted to do a costly replacement. Ashton and Stever inspected it and said they could repair it for a lot less and I'd probably be good for another 10 years before I needed to have it replaced. This saved me a lot and when it's time to replace it, I'm calling these guys.
