Comment: Beware, I have the same house as my sister, and she lives about a 1/4 from me. Both houses were built the same year, same construction company back in 90's. Our roofs were both needing to be replaced. I went with these guys because I didn't like the others. My sister didn't go with Virginia's because she was got a 'proposal' for about $3,000 less from another company. I too had a 'proposal' for the lesser amount; however, I liked these guys better. When it was all done, my sister spent $500 more than me because that company charged for extras they claim weren't in the 'proposal'. In other words, I guess there's lots of company's giving 'lower estimates' and then charging more than what they said like my sister discovered. Troy, from Virginia's, told me he's heard of a lot of guys doing that. He said, cheap isn't always better; I'm happy with what these guys did, and I like the looks of my roof. My sister has also had several shingles blow off to deal with.

Comment: I used these guys but didn't like that they started so damn early on the roof. I told Troy I like to sleep in on Sunday and not to start until 10am. However, his crew showed up at 6am and started working. When Troy showed up, he said the weather called for rain and they needed to get it tore off and covered before it rained. It did start raining at noon, but they could have started at 10am, it wasn't raining then, or they should have come back in a day or two. Anyway, the insurance adjuster was happy with the quality of work, and they paid for it. Next time I hire them, I'll just stay at my mother's house so not to be disturbed.

Comment: We had a lot of hail damage and needed someone to work with our insurance company that was certified and licensed. I hired these guys, and they fixed my roof, and it was all covered on my insurance but the deductible. I got a 35-year warranty and storm grade shingle.

Comment: Don't hire anyone else, these guys are the bomb! They are locally owned and operated by an ex-Air Force and Army guy. I love supporting Vet's they served our Country and I like that. I like they're locally owned and warrant their work. They're not some flyby night 'Chuck in a truck' company. Professional and just what you want, you will not go wrong.

Comment: I have a couple of rental properties and needed some work done to pass my rental license inspection. I heard about these guys, and they fixed me up and they even handled getting my rental license. It saved me a lot of time and money, thanks guys.

Comment: I used another company to install my roof about 3 years ago and now I have storm damage, so I called the manufacturer of the shingles because I had a 30yr. warranty. Finally, I got a representative out to look at the roof and they refused to warranty the roof because the contractor that installed it wasn't certified. I got a hold of these guys and Troy was able to work with the manufacturer and got some of it covered. But I still had to pay them to mostly redo it all. In the long run, learn from me. Ask to see their IL license and verify they'll stand by their work and will be covered. That's just my advice.

Comment: What impressed me the most was when these guys came out, they refused to just patch the roof as I wanted. I thought the customer was always supposed to be right? After Troy and Ashton were here, the owner personally came out and talked to me and said that there's lots of contractors that would be more than happy to just take my money, but he's not one of them. I thought about this and decided to call a few references and I was surprised he was right. Nobody complained about their work, and they stood behind what they did. So, I pulled the trigger on these guys and setup payments, I'm glad that I did because it this was the best solution and now, I won't have to worry about replacing/fixing the roof for the rest of my life!

Comment: What I liked was they wouldn't just ******(redacted) rig it like I asked them to. Troy flat out told me that they don't do that type of work. He said there's a lot of guys out there that will take your money, but they're not going to be around or warrant it etc. I was just trying to save money is all. However, as cost keep going up, I'm sure it won't be any cheaper next year. I was surprised by the number of roofs Troy told me he walks away from because they don't do half-a** (redacted) work. I know one in particular they walked away from, and I see they have *** Roofing (redacted) doing it. It just makes you wonder is all. If I'm going to pay someone then I want the best, if you have cancer wouldn't you want the best surgeon? and not someone that is cheap and just takes your money? Comment: I had a fire and my insurance company recommended them. Great job, no issues. Thank goodness I used these guys because I was going to use someone else before my agent told me to call these guys. If I would have used who I was going to use, it wouldn't have been insurable because the other contractor wasn't licensed and bonded. Comment: I needed a deck out back repaired. They gave me a price to replace the whole deck with new. I'm glad I did that because this new deck is so much nicer.
