Comment: I just had my roof replaced and that windstorm we had blew off shingles. The roof was installed by someone else, and they would NOT warrant the work, so I called Virgina's. Ashton came out and looked at it and said that the other installers only nailed the shingles with 4 nails in each shingle instead of 6; plus, they didn't use ice and water shield or install the flashing properly. I'm pissed because Ashton states it all has to come off and be redone. He showed me pictures and I see what he means. I just wish I would have gone with these guys to begin with.

Comment: What I liked was they wouldn't just ******(redacted) rig it like I asked them to. Troy flat out told me that they don't do that type of work. He said there's a lot of guys out there that will take your money, but they're not going to be around or warrant it etc. I was just trying to save money is all. However, as cost keep going up, I'm sure it won't be any cheaper next year. I was surprised by the number of roofs Troy told me he walks away from because they don't do half-a** (redacted) work. I know one in particular they walked away from, and I see they have *** Roofing (redacted) doing it. It just makes you wonder is all. If I'm going to pay someone then I want the best, if you have cancer wouldn't you want the best surgeon? and not someone that is cheap and just takes your money? Get the best and have it done right is all I can say, and these guys did just that. Thanks guys, oh and PS> I'm a Packers Fan and we still got your number there 'Steve dah Bears' fan worker.

Comment: They did a great job on my roof and gutters. Their price was reasonable, and I financed part of it with them. My complaint is they were supposed to start on Monday but could not start until Wednesday because of weather. It took a few days after completing the roof to get the gutters done to because of snow. I just wanted the work finished before I went on vacation and had to wait until I was back to check their work. It was fine, I just wasn't happy I wasn't there the whole time.

Comment: These guys were great, I just wish they were cheaper. I called around and got 3 estimates and they were more than one and less than another, so I picked them. **Update** Afterwards, I was glad because the cheaper company did my neighbor's house, and their roof is leaking, and they don't return calls. Thank goodness I went with Virgina's because they are bonded and insured and certified roofers.

Comment: I had a fire and my insurance company recommended them. Great job, no issues. Thank goodness I used these guys because I was going to use someone else before my agent told me to call these guys. If I would have used who I was going to use, it wouldn't have been insurable because the other contractor wasn't licensed and bonded. Comment: I hired someone else to do my roof and they f****** it up and never completed it and the section they did do was leaking. I had to have Virginia's come out and fix and finish it. Troy told me it would have been cheaper to just have him do it; but he saved me as much money as he could by reusing as much as he could from the other guys. I should have known something was fishy because the other roofers had me pull the building permit. I guess there's a lot of roofers running around but you have to be licensed and bonded to pull a building permit unless you're the homeowner. That's why they had me get the permit.

Comment: I used another company to install my roof about 3 years ago and now I have storm damage, so I called the manufacturer of the shingles because I had a 30yr. warranty. Finally, I got a representative out to look at the roof and they refused to warranty the roof because the contractor that installed it wasn't certified. I got a hold of these guys and Troy was able to work with the manufacturer and got some of it covered. But I still had to pay them to mostly redo it all. In the long run, learn from me. Ask to see their IL license and verify they'll stand by their work and will be covered. That's just my advice.
