I called a few other contractors and they just seemed to be about doing a 'cheap and fast' job instead of doing it correctly. Comment: I just bought a house and needed the chimney fixed. I had one guy come out and quoted me $1,200 and Virginia's quoted me $1,800 so I went with ************ (redacted) which was cheaper. He wanted 1/2 down so I paid him $600 and I never saw him again. He wouldn't return my calls and I was screwed. So, I hired Virginia's and I have to admit I was now skeptical, and they wanted 60% down. I paid it and they did the work no problem. Troy gave me a $100 military discount because I was in the service. So, in the end it cost me trying to get it done on the cheap when I should have just hired these guys. Life is full of lessons, so learn from my mistake.

Comment: I had a fire and my insurance company recommended them. Great job, no issues. Thank goodness I used these guys because I was going to use someone else before my agent told me to call these guys. If I would have used who I was going to use, it wouldn't have been insurable because the other contractor wasn't licensed and bonded. Comment: I had a roof leak and had several guys come out and look at it and they all quoted me replacing it. Ashton and Steve looked at it and said it was repairable. A lot of contractors just want to sell you on a new roof, but these guys patched it and gave me 10yr warranty and it was 75% cheaper than replacing it.

Comment: I have a commercial building and these guys are one of the few companies that are licensed for commercial buildings. They fixed my issues, no problems and would use them again. Hope this helps.

Comment: I heard you guys did roofs but when I had another roofing company ************ (redacted) they were about $3k less than you guys. You're too expensive. ADMINISTRATOR: This could be for several reasons, they could be only giving you a 'Proposal', they could be giving you a cheaper shingle, etc. In other words, you might not be comparing Apples to Apples. There are also a few contractors that deliberately give lower estimates then they charge you more for everything else, such as 70¢ per nail on decking, or decking replacement etc. Whereas with us, we don't do that. Also, we have no problem coming back out and taking a re-look and comparing pricing to see ways to save you money. If another company gives you a legitimate quote, we'll match it or beat it. Remember you get what you pay for, and cheaper construction is NOT what you want done at your home. We'll call you and schedule a revisit and see what can be done. It might be they're installing a cheaper IKO shingle.

Comment: Found these guys on FB and I was looking for someone to install a fence for me. They came in and did a very nice job too. My mother had them fix her chimney and siding. What I really liked about them was that they don't do it on the 'cheap'. They do quality work, and I was amazed how quick they got things done.

Comment: I needed someone to simply mow my lawn, not landscaping, or trimming, you know like the teenage kid down the street use to do. Everyone I called wanted $50+ and they charged me for edging and trimming regardless. A friend recommended these guys, and they simply charged me $35. What a relief, because I'm on a fixed income. I also wanted some weed & feed to put down, they charged me for a bag from Menards and only charged me $10 to apply it. They did a good job and Steve told me they do charge more for lawncare, but they have a simple mowing plan if you just want your grass cut and a little trimming. So, they were exactly what I was looking for.

Comment: These guys are great. I had several people look at my roof and these guys impressed me the most. I'm so glad I had them do the work. They did an excellent job. Our insurance adjuster said it was the best workmanship he'd seen. I almost went with someone else, when I told my insurance agent it was ******* (redacted), he said good thing I didn't because he's had nothing but problems dealing with them. He also said that ************ (redacted) Insurance has never had problems with Virginia's and they're a preferred vendor.
